Earthwing’s Supermodel longboard skateboard is a great board for those looking to learn how to slide and get into beginning downhill. Because it is a drop deck, this board has a lower center of gravity making it easier to balance on. For the same reason, this is a great deck for those looking for something stable to push around town. The classic super model shape has a less-is-more attitude and offers a mellow radial concave with no rocker and no camber. But don’t be fooled, this simple shape still locks you in while doing slides or bombing hills. Coming in at 38″ and 8ply this Supermodel caters to smaller riders, or those with smaller stances. The drop deck Earthwing Supermodel was designed around Independent 215 skateboard trucks. For that reason, we recommend setting it up with Independent 215s, 70mm Earthwing Charger wheels and Beasto Bearings. Please Note: The Earthwing SuperModel Decks are colored with a staining technique and not all stains will come out the same. Each ply of wood will reveal its own patten and therefore each SuperModel will be totally unique.
